William Sackheim (October 31, 1921 - December 1, 2004) was a writer and producer who was also a two time Emmy Award winer. For TV he developed "Gidget" and "The Flying Nun." His features include "The In-Laws" and "Pacific Heights." His writing credits include "First Blood" and "The Competition." He died of degenerative brain disease and is buried at Westwood Village Memorial Park.
